A look at the current magazine rack: Neve Campbell is in the current FHM with her all-time best leggy pictorial. Shannon Elizabeth is in Maxim, and so is Battlestar Galactica babe Tricia Helfer. There is a nice shot of Nicole Kidman on the cover of the new Entertainment Weekly, but unfortunately there are no others inside.

Speaking of Battlestar Galactica, I hope it becomes a regular series because I want more chances for Ms. Helfer, Katee Sackhoff and Grace Park to show off their underpinnings. The last time we had a new babe-filled science fiction TV series ("Firefly"), it got axed. Hoping for better luck this time.

And Mary McDonnell has some damn fine stems, 51 years old or not.

I've found a new up-and-coming leg star: Erica Leerhsen. She was in a recent episode of "Alias", in which we saw the camera pan up her body as she was dressed only in a man's shirt...major hotness. She was a model and was also in "Blair Witch 2" and the "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" remake.

Site-related item: I'm considering capping the Hall of Fame at 250 members. Currently, 248 women have been voted in... 25 or 30 of them remaining to be put up on the site. New nominations have really slowed down in recent months. Once two more get elected, I might just leave it at that. Or, I might open the voting up occasionally... say, one month each year... to allow additional members to be elected.

Let's see now...in the world of current magazines:

FHM has a good Kristanna Loken pictorial, and the best Jillian Barberie leg pictorial I've seen yet. And for the bubble-butt lovers out there, Vida Guerra is back for a new layout.

MAXIM has Jessica Alba -- see, the reason her TV show failed is because her legs were always covered up with those leathers. Birds of Prey failed for the same reason...

STUFF has Krista Allen...hot as always.

This morning I just noticed some nice Annabella Sciorra leg pics in RAZOR magazine.

And SAVOY has a couple of great Halle Berry pics.

PLAYBOY's 50th anniversary issue should hit the stands shortly. That should be interesting...

Oh, and seek out a copy of Jennifer Lopez's "I'm Glad" video. Jennifer re-enacts famous scenes from "Flashdance." She is utterly hot in it.

Yes, it's true...for the first time in over a year on my present hosting service, I ran out of bandwidth in October. The site was down the 30th and 31st and should be up again on Nov. 1 (by the time you're reading this, unless you have this blog separately bookmarked).

You would think 60 gigs a month would be enough, but...lots of people like the celebrity legs, it seems. To prevent this happening again I'm going to have to limit the size of the galleries a bit more...say, to no more than 12 pictures for any one woman and no more than 100 altogether. Hopefully that should do it.

It's been suggested that the Britney Spears pants-less pose on the cover of the November issue of ESQUIRE is the best celebrity leg-art photo ever taken. That's a big statement to make, but it's certainly the best I've seen in a long, long while. There is simply nothing wrong with that girl's legs.

The other photos inside are fine, too. Britney seems to get closer and closer to naked with each layout she does.

The new issue of ELLE is also on my list because of some good Kirsten Dunst pics inside; some of Courtney Love, too.

The new INSTYLE is a bit of a disappointment -- why do a Gwyneth Paltrow pictorial with no glorious leggage? I saw a good Mya pic in there, though, and one of Christina Aguilera.

I meant to watch the new TV show COLD CASE this fall, but so far have only seen the first ep. Kathryn Morris is near the top of my "watch list" for Upcoming Leg Star of the future...hopefully she'll get to wear something other than Scully-style pants-suits all the time.

The new issue of INSTYLE has Salma Hayek on the cover, but sadly not much of her legs inside. There are some good pics of Rosario Dawson and one of Kate Hudson.

PEOPLE magazine's 100 Greatest TV Stars issue sports a $10.99 price tag and not quite enough leg to justify it, although there are really good (but not new) pics of Heather Locklear, Suzanne Somers, and Sarah Jessica Parker.

ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY's Fall TV Preview issue is usually good for a few leg pics. They are:

* The cast of "Coupling". The girls are Rena Sofer (of "Ed" and "Just Shoot Me"), Lindsay Price (of "Beverly Hills 90210") and Sonya Walger, who was in nothing that I've heard of.

* Olivia Wilde from Fox's "Skin".

* Eliza Dushku from Fox's "Tru Calling".

* Alicia Silverstone, from NBC's "Miss Match".

* Christina Chang, from ABC's "L.A. Dragnet".

* Hilary Duff in a "Got Milk" ad.

The new issue of Vanity Fair has a couple of good leg pics of Nicole Kidman in it, but the thing is the size of a phone book. Hoping somebody posts them to the net soon so I don't have to buy the thing and lug it home.

Wow...it's been a long time since the last entry here. Too much crap going on.

Here's a rundown of good legs I've seen in the current magazine crop:

MAXIM: Mariah Carey is looking hot. The pics on the Maxim site focus too much on her upper body, though.

FHM: Tara Reid. Pretty good. The real highlight of this issue for me was Linda Park, who plays Hoshi on the TV show ENTERPRISE...not a show I like, but I sure as hell like her, especially in her underthings.

KING: This hip-hop magazine features Mya on the cover and in a layout. Mya is really making her move as a new leg queen, what with this and her recent appearance in THE SOURCE a couple of months ago.

PLAYBOY: Not too crazy about Miss October's legs...her calves are too skinny for my tastes. But there are plenty of nice stems on display in the Girls of the Big Ten layout.

ESQUIRE: The Jennifer Lopez pinup issue is still on the stands, I believe.

The July issue of FHM, and the accompanying 100 Sexiest Women insert, are major must-haves for leg lovers.

The 100 Sexiest Women book is suspiciously heavy on women who have posed for FHM in the past (could it be they're not 100% faithful to the results of the reader poll?) and some of the pics are several years old, but there are plenty of goodies here. Highlights are the pics of Sofia Vergara, Kate Hudson, Taryn Manning, Jaime Pressly, Tiffani Thiessen (my favorite pic in the book), Kristin Kreuk, Ali Landry, and Brooke Burke.

The regular FHM is pretty damn fine too, with great pics of Holly Valance, Scott Stapp's incredibly hot sister, the Pierce Triplets (winners of the Hometown Honeys of the year contest), the cast of MTV's "Surf Girls", and Taryn Manning. The only downside is that the sexy full-page pic of Maria Bartiromo shows no leggage.

Playboy's July issue is also even better than usual in the pins department. Jordan Ladd (Cheryl's daughter) is Babe of the Month. A pictorial based on the movie "2 Fast 2 Furious" is highlighted by the shapely legs (and other things) of Roxanne Galla, Cherie Gage, Linda O'Neil (!!!), Melissa Puente, and Asia Mendez. Centerfold Marketa Janska has great legs but unfortunately shows no rear-view shots. Then there's a Nikki Ziering layout where she shows off her stems in every shot.

The cover of SHAPE magazine has a very nice bikini shot of Petra Nemcova.

The June issue of Vanity Fair has a nice cheesecake shot of Drew Barrymore inside. She shows some thigh on the cover, too.

If I were a superhero, I'd choose the power to erase the graffiti from the bodies of really beautiful women with big hideous tattoos...

The latest issue of FHM has a pictorial tribute to the girls of Buffy: The Vampire Slayer in honor of that show's end. There are fine-looking layouts of Alyson Hannigan (Willow) and Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia, formerly of Buffy, formerly of Angel)...some nice shots of Julie Benz and Emma Caulfield too.

I went to see the new X-Men movie last weekend. It was a great action-adventure movie that fully lived up to its hype. The tragedy, however, was that Halle Berry, Famke Janssen, and Kelly Hu went the entire film without showing any leg at all...

There was one scene with Rebecca Romijn-Stamos, however, that almost made up for it.

The issue of Esquire with Naomi Watts on the cover is still on the stands, I believe. This is definitely a worthy acquisition.

The covergirl on the last issue of Fitness magazine is a woman named Cinthia Moura...a Brazilian model and an absolute knockout. Her legs are A++ but I can't find much of them on the web. Hopefully we will be seeing more of her in the near future.

Some fairly decent legs to be seen in the new April issue of PLAYBOY. Hall of Famer Carmen Electra is on display in an 8-page layout, showing off her beautiful cheerleader-like stems (and everything else). Centerfold Carmella DeCesare has very nice legs, although it's her gorgeous face that really steals the show.

The big highlight of this issue is the gulp-inducing photo of actress Rosa Blasi in the "Playboy After Hours" section. You can check her out at rosablasi.com.

The new issue of GQ has a cover featuring Jennifer Garner (of the "Daredevil" movie and "Alias" TV show) sitting bare-thighed on a motorcycle with knee-high boots. There are several other nice leggy pictures inside the magazine.

If you like Christina Ricci (and I know I do), you need to pick up the new "special collector's" issue of PREMIERE. Christina shows some leg on the cover, and inside there's a great full-page pic of her re-enacting the Marilyn Monroe skirt-blowing scene.

The current issue of ELLE (Adriana Lima on the cover) has a great assortment of leg pics inside...many of them in the advertisements. There are a couple of great Gisele Bundchen pics in there.

The new issue of InStyle has Sheryl Crow on the cover, but the pictorial inside has no leg pictures of her. That's pretty bizarre, to run a pictorial of Sheryl Crow and not have any leg pics. I wonder if somebody will be fired over that?

Perusing the magazine rack at Barnes & Noble, I noticed a really nice leg pic of Kate Winslet on the cover of the British GQ magazine. I didn't buy it cause I'm not paying $8.99 for a magazine...but if you're willing to pay it (or if you're British), it might be worth picking up.

Sheer black pantyhose. Nice.

This is my new Celebrity Legs weblog, which I will use to make periodic postings on the subject of (oddly enough) celebrity legs. I'll use this space to post info and heads-up about magazines, movies, TV shows, websites etc. to take a look at. Updates will be irregular...whenever I have something to say. I plan on customizing the look of this place when I get some free time.

Celebrity Legs lovers will want to check out the current (February) issue of InStyle magazine, with Drew Barrymore on the cover. "The Look" section has a nice variety of short skirt pics. On page 70 we have Mariah Carey in a short pleated black skirt, and Christina Ricci in an even shorter pleated black skirt. The latter is my favorite pic in this issue...Christina is looking mighty hot these days.

Page 71 has Molly Sims in a beige vinyl skirt and knee-hi boots.

Four hotties on page 72: Naomi Watts, Kimora Lee Simmons, Halle Berry, and Beyonce Knowles all in short fringed dresses.

On page 74 we have Esther Canadas, Anna Friel and Serena Williams in short skirts backed with long coats.

Some nice ads in this issue, especially the Nordstrom lingerie insert.

PLAYBOY has a good leg issue on the stands right now as well (the March issue). Ex-spy Katrina Barillova has a lot going on between her hips and the ground (page 76 is a keeper).

Playmate Pennelope Jimenez has a nice pair...of everything that comes in pairs. :-)

The "Latin TV Stars" pictorial has some nice highlights...Natalia Villaveces, Vanesa Adriazola, Roxana Martinez and covergirl Doris Mar.

Finally, there's an amazing picture of Juliette Lewis on page 130, in a super-short yellow skirt. Best leg picture I've seen of her.
